More than two million people have visited the Womans Curch. The Neumarkt quarter around the church is the historical heart of the city. The largest church in Saxony is the Cathedral of Dresden. Nearby you find the Semperoper, the only theater in Germany that bears the name of its architect. In the east of Dresden you find an attractive landscape with bizarre rocks of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains (is called Saxon Switzerland). |
